The series is especially suitable for thin hair and an unbalanced scalp. The products together repair and balance the scalp.

Unwanted hair loss and unbalanced scalp

Hair loss is characterized by the process where more hairs fall out of the scalp than grow back, which can lead to a gradual thinning of your hair. It is entirely natural to lose hair daily, but if you suddenly start losing more hair than you regrow, it is experienced as actual hair loss.

Types of Hair Loss

Androgenic Alopecia is the most common form of hair loss for both men and women. It is an inherited or hormonal condition where the hair gradually begins to thin. For women, this typically shows as a receding parting on the top of the head.
Telogen Effluvium is a temporary hair loss that often occurs after a stressful period, a shock experience, or severe illness. The hair loss occurs suddenly, but the hair tends to grow back over time.
Alopecia Areata, also known as spot baldness, results in sudden hair loss in clumps, creating "spots" on the scalp.

Causes of Hair Loss

There can be several causes of unwanted hair loss:

Hereditary
Lifestyle-related, e.g., diet (lack of proteins, vitamins, and minerals), exercise, sleep, and weight loss
Hormonal imbalance, e.g., pregnancy, breastfeeding, and menopause
Mental imbalance, e.g., stress and grief
Illness and medication
Use of hair care and styling products with silicone, which clogs hair follicles

Scientific studies have shown that PROCAPIL® slows hair loss and improves the health of hair follicles. Products with PROCAPIL® can help promote healthy hair growth, strengthen hair, and prevent and reduce hair loss.

The studies have shown positive results with the use of PROCAPIL®. It is important to note that results may vary.*

The patented PROCAPIL® is a composition of three active ingredients: peptide biotinyl-GHK, apigenin, and natural oleanolic acid.

Peptide biotinyl-GHK works by stimulating keratin production, a protein that makes up the hair strand. This can be beneficial for strengthening hair and preventing breakage or hair loss.
Apigenin is a flavonoid that can help increase blood circulation in the hair follicles, providing increased nutrient and oxygen supply to the hair root. This can help promote healthy hair growth.
Oleanolic acid is a natural compound said to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It can help combat inflammation and protect hair follicles from damage caused by free radicals and oxidative stress.

Together, the ingredients strengthen and rejuvenate hair follicles and improve hair anchoring to reduce hair loss and stimulate hair growth. They improve the health of hair follicles and create balance in the scalp.

PROCAPIL® appears in the INCI list as: Butylene Glycol, Aqua, PPG-26-Buteth-26, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Apigenin, Oleanolic Acid, Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1.

It is recommended to use the products (Stimulating Hair Shampoo Pure no. 22 and Anti Hair Loss Scalp Tonic Pure no. 23) for at least 4 months to see a new hair strand form and emerge through the scalp. The formation of a new hair takes about 60 days, and then it grows 1-1.5 cm per month. However, you will quickly notice, after you start using the products, that you shed less and that your hair grows faster than normal.

You can continue to use the products after this period depending on your hair’s needs. If you want to maintain the hair, you may need to continue using the products.
